Profiles of Anxiety Care online facilitators

       

Val has worked in the field of counselling, personal development and self awareness since the early 80s, including work with substance abusers, also with adolescents and young people. Been volunteering with Anxiety Care since 1997 and is now also involved with training and management.

       

Kerry began training with Anxiety Care in 2004 and is currently involved with most of the services offered. Currently pursuing a career in counselling psychology after completing a degree in Psychology in 04. Member of the British Psychological Society for 4 years with keen interest in many areas of the discipline. Has experience working with young people within a youth works setting, and has mentored students at university, and also within local borough who would like to go onto further and higher education.

       

Suzanne joined Anxiety Care as a volunteer in 2007. In addition to her online work, she also provides one to one counselling for clients. She has a degree in Psychology and is currently training as a Counselling Psychologist at the University of East London. Suzanne is also a member of the British Psychological Society within the division of Counselling Psychology.

       

Denise has been involved with a number of other chat rooms since 2003. She began moderating in various public chat rooms in 2005. Denise began volunteering with Anxiety Care in 2007 and is involved in several of our services in addition to her work as an online facilitator.
